The temperatures and rainfall were comparable to the average for the last ten years. Although very dry, with no rain during the months of June, July and August, summer temperatures were relatively low, helping grapes ripen well.

Controlled temperature fermentation (24ºC) in small stainless steel tanks.
12 months aging in used American oak barrels, followed by 12 months bottle ageing prior to market release.

Complex aroma of red currants and cassis, earthy, some leather.
Rich and generous palate, robust tannins, long finish with good acidity, excellent ageing potential.
