Since the launch of its first wine in 1985, Esporão has invited several artists to customize and enrich the labels of its Reserva and Private Selection vintages. So far, 32 Portuguese, 2 Angolan and 1 Brazilian artist have participated in this tradition.

Esporão Reserva White 2018 is a wine that results from the careful selection and blend of grapes from the region’s typical varieties (Arinto, Antão Vaz and Roupeiro) – all from Herdade do Esporão. Crystalline, straw-colored and with greenish reflections, its aromas are rich, with notes of grapefruit and lemon, as well as touches of spice. It is creamy in the mouth, with structure and volume, revealing an excellent balance and filling given by the fruit. The finish is long and elegant.

Esporão Reserva White 2018 is the first wine released in the market with a label illustrated by António Poppe. Esporão Reserva Red 2017, Esporão Private Selection White 2018 and Esporão Private Selection Red 2016 will also feature labels illustrated by this artist, in collaboration with Eduardo Aires Studio.
